GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
These General Terms and Conditions apply to all sales concluded with Hotel HANNONG, 15 rue du 22 Novembre, 67000 Strasbourg. By confirming a reservation, the client acknowledges having read and accepted these Terms and Conditions. They may be modified at any time; the applicable version is the one in force on the date of the reservation.
ARTICLE 1 – RATES
All rates are expressed in EURO (€), tax included, based on the VAT applicable on the date of booking. Any change in the VAT rate or the introduction of new legal taxes by the authorities will automatically be reflected in the final invoice.
Rates apply per room, per night, for the number of guests indicated at booking and for the selected dates only. Unless otherwise stated, they do not include additional services or the local tourist tax.
The tourist tax is € 2.86 per person per day (for guests aged 18 and over). It is never included in the displayed rate and must be paid directly on site.
Certain services may incur additional charges and may be modified without prior notice, without engaging the hotel’s liability.
Reservations made prior to the launch of a promotional offer cannot be refunded, even partially.
ARTICLE 2 – RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENT METHODS
Reservations may be made via the website www.hotel-hannong.com, by telephone, email, or postal mail. A reservation becomes effective only when guaranteed by the client, either by providing a valid credit card number (with expiry date, security code, and 3DS authorization), or by paying a deposit, and after receiving a detailed booking confirmation.
Payment for all services is made directly at the hotel, except for prepaid reservations.
The hotel reserves the right to refuse any reservation with an invalid credit card or incomplete information.
All reservations, regardless of origin, must be paid in euros.
Hotel HANNONG accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and UnionPay. The hotel uses a PCI‑certified secure booking system that encrypts all sensitive data to prevent disclosure to third parties.
A pre‑authorization may be performed at the time of booking. This is not a debit, except in the following cases:
- Promotional offer “non‑cancellable, non‑refundable”
- Credit card expiry date earlier than the arrival date
The client is solely responsible for choosing services and rates suited to their needs; the hotel cannot be held liable in this regard.
ARTICLE 3 – FORCE MAJEURE
Force majeure refers to any external event that is unforeseeable, irresistible, and unavoidable, preventing the hotel from fulfilling its contractual obligations. This includes, for example, transport strikes, hotel staff strikes, public unrest, or governmental disturbances.
ARTICLE 4 – MODIFICATION AND CANCELLATION OF STAY
Any modification or cancellation request must be sent by email to info@hotel-hannong.com or by phone at +33 (0)3 88 32 16 22.
The request becomes effective only once confirmed in writing by the hotel.
Applicable conditions:
- For any request made after 12:00 PM on the day before arrival, the first night will be charged.
- In case of no‑show, the first night will be charged to the credit card.
- Any stay that has begun is fully due.
- Promotional “Non‑Cancellable, Non‑Modifiable” reservations cannot be refunded.
For reservations made through partner websites, cancellation must be processed through the partner. Their cancellation policies apply and may differ from those of Hotel HANNONG.
ARTICLE 5 – THE HOTEL AND SERVICES
Rooms are available from 3:00 PM and must be vacated by 11:00 AM on the day of departure. A surcharge may apply for late check‑out.
All rooms are non‑smoking. If smoking occurs in a room (triggering smoke detectors and/or persistent odor), the hotel may charge a € 200 fee for cleaning and room downtime.
Clients must respect other guests, staff, and the premises. Any behavior contrary to public order or good morals may result in immediate eviction without compensation or refund. Any outstanding balance remains due.
ARTICLE 6 – RELOCATION
In case of unavailability due to force majeure, the hotel may relocate the client to an establishment of equivalent or higher category offering similar services. Transfer costs will be covered by the hotel, which cannot be held liable for additional compensation.
ARTICLE 7 – CLAIMS
Any claim must be sent by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt within 15 days after the end of the stay. After this period, no claim will be considered.

ARTICLE 8 – DATA PROTECTION
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the amended French Data Protection Act, the Client is informed that their reservation is subject to computerized processing of personal data by SAS HOTEL HANNONG, acting as the data controller. This information is required for the management of the reservation and is not disclosed to unauthorized third parties.
The Client has the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict the processing of, and obtain portability of their data. These rights may be exercised by contacting the registered office:

Telephone marketing: In accordance with applicable regulations, the Hotel will not carry out any commercial telephone solicitation to the Client unless the Client has given prior, explicit, clear, and specific consent at the time their contact details were collected.
The HANNONG Hotel offers Wi-Fi internet access. Guests agree that the computer resources made available to them shall not be used in any way for the reproduction, display, distribution, or public communication of works or items protected by copyright or related rights, such as texts, images, photographs, musical and audiovisual works, software, and video games, without the authorization of the rights holders as provided for in Books I and II of the Intellectual Property Code, when such authorization is required..
ARTICLE 9 – LIABILITY
The hotel declines responsibility for theft, loss, or damage to clients’ belongings during their stay.
Clients are liable for any damage, deterioration, or vandalism caused by themselves or persons under their responsibility. The hotel may evict the client without refund and require full reimbursement of damages.
ARTICLE 10 – APPLICABLE LAW
These Terms and Conditions are governed by French law. Any dispute falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of French courts.
Only the General Terms and Conditions of Sale in French will be considered in the event of any dispute. This translation is provided for informational purposes only.
ARTICLE 11 – PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION
Personal data is not collected without your knowledge; it is provided voluntarily by you. Personal information is not transferred to third parties and is not used for purposes other than those stated. “Personal data” refers to any information collected and stored in a format that allows you to be identified directly (e.g., name) or indirectly (e.g., telephone number) as an individual.
